• Enter your provided User Name and Password and click “Log In.”
• You should see your WordPress dashboard where general information about your website is aggregated.
Updating A News, Blog, or Post:
• If you would like to make a News or Blog Post, click on “Posts” in the left hand navigation bar and then click on “Add New.”
• From this page, you can Title your post, upload and add media (images), write copy, and format everything.
• In the right-most column there is a tool bar called “Categories.” The box you click here determines where this post is published on your website.
• Once you have your Post the way you’d like it, click “Preview” in the upper right hand corner to see what the post will look like without actually publishing it to the live website. If there are formatting errors, you can go back to the post page and make additional adjustments. You can preview the post as often as possible, so make sure it looks exactly how you’d like it to prior to publishing.
• When you’re happy with the post, click “Publish” and it will be pushed live to the website!
