About the Team

A long time ago in a suburb far, far away...

How it all started…

A group of geeky young business professionals decided the galaxy was ready for a different kind of marketing firm. One that actually cares about its clients and their success. A marketing firm with ethics and the firm belief that you don’t need to be a million dollar corporation to be successful on the internet. Why the internet? Simple. Because it is the most powerful communications tool that humans have ever created. In today’s world, if you’re not online, you don’t exist. (trivia fact:  that is why we call ourselves a “communications firm”) So in time 1 became 2 and 2 became 3 and 3 became 4 and the team grew based on a shared commitment to the passion we all have for online business development. You want to see some  geeks freaking out, then you should see how excited we get when one of clients get a page one result or when we finish a new web project. So if you are ready to get your geek on too, give us a shout we’ll be happy to show you how our proven methodologies can take your business to the next level.

Our Team

Ed Aldana – President
Ed holds Bachelor’s Degrees in International Business and Philosophy from California Lutheran University and a Masters in Media Communications. With time spent as an Account Executive for Realtor.com, Business Development for Five Star Redemption, and in Strategic Marketing at Vigitize.com, Ed realized there was a need for a better way to help businesses survive online. In June 2011, iOVA Communications was created to fill that need. If Ed could have any exotic animal as a pet, he would really like a penguin. But not just any penguin, one trained in the arts of the Jedi by Yoda himself of course.

James Peters iOVA Vice President of Sales and OperationsJames Peters – Vice President of Sales and Operations
James graduated from UC San Diego with degrees in both History and Anthropology. After a stint in financial planning, he found his true calling of sales while working for Realtor.com where he became known for a solid track record of client renewals and sales in a tough real estate market. James’ passion for helping businesses expand their digital presence made him a natural choice for positioning iOVA as a reliable business partner for our clients. If James was stranded on an island he hopes he have a volleyball (to keep him company), the largest swiss army knife available, and a crate of sunscreen to keep away skin cancer.

Kevin Rooney iOVA Director of FulfillmentKevin Rooney – Director of Fulfillment
Kevin earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola Marymount University and also holds a Master’s from the University of Manchester in the UK. Kevin has earned a reputation for streamlining processes to be more efficient and effective in several other organizations before joining the iOVA team, where he now manages the fulfillment of marketing efforts on behalf of our clients. If Kevin could have dinner with any three people, he’d choose to spend his evening with Winston Churchill, Gandhi, and Darth Vader.

Nick Delladio – AdWords Manager, WordPress Support
Nick has a long history of working in customer service. His reputation as a client-focused, hardworking professional made him a natural fit for iOVA. He is a native of the San Fernando Valley suburbs outside of Los Angeles. Nick is a creature of habit that loves working out and can usually be seen eating the same healthy lunch every day. If he could have any super power, it would be the power of flight simply so he could soar over the famous Los Angeles traffic.

Owen Robinson – SEO & Adwords Specialist
A rare California native, Owen is a graduate of John Burroughs High School in Burbank and an avid fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers. His wealth of experience in the foodservice industry led him to test his entrepreneurial spirit in 2011 by co-founding California Gourmet Vending carts. He firmly believes there’s no better business school than starting one from the ground up. His favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption; the message of persistence in the face of adversity is one of the important mindsets to bring into any challenging project. If he could have any job it would be a philosopher teaching his wisdom and ideas to the world.

Marsha Barker - Director of Business DevelopmentMarsha Barker – Director of Business Development
Marsha brings more than 20 years of client-centric business development experience with her to iOVA Communications. Her talents in customer resolution and retention made her an excellent and immediate asset to our business development team. She is an avid horseback rider and loves nothing more than spending time with her family. A Louisiana native, Marsha could eat gumbo and nothing else for the rest of her life and die happy. If she had to be trapped inside of a television show for a month, Marsha would like for it to be The Brady Bunch since after all, it was all about Marsha Marsha Marsha!

Leah KammeyerLeah Kammeyer – Social Media Manager
Leah comes from a strong background in customer relations and specializes in providing individualized support for her clients. Her expertise in social media management and knack for creativity make her an excellent content writer for our team. When not absorbed in the depths of the online world, Leah loves traveling, cultural enrichment, camping, hiking, and the general great outdoors. She is also highly involved with her hālau (hula school), where she practices traditional and modern hula dancing. She truly enjoys working at iOVA, but really, if she could have it her way, she would have a resident office cat… or two… or three…
